A Navy Landing Craft, Utility pulls away from the USS Wasp to clear space in the well decks, off the coast of Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 11, 2012. The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit is currently providing support to the commemoration of the Battle of New Orleans. Starting through April and continuing through 2015, the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard will commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and "The Star-Spangled Banner." The War of 1812 celebration with commemorate the rich Naval history and showcase the capabilities of today's Navy-Marine Corps team.
