Soldiers read aloud the comments on their Unit Status Reports during the ARNG Net USR Readiness Reporting course. Poorly written comments lacking quantitative data are the main reason USRs are kicked back from National Guard Bureau/Headquarters Department of the Army, making comment writing the course focus. The Human Resources and Readiness Training Center course, held at the Professional Education Center on Camp Robinson Maneuver Training Center, North Little Rock, Ark., July 23 - 25, 2019, taught how to prepare a well crafted USR that gives the best snapshot of a unit’s ability to deploy.
