The back of the brand new, nearly 10,000 square-foot U.S. Forest Service Kern River Ranger Station in Kernville, California. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District officially handed over the facility to the Forest Service on Nov. 1, 2017. The old facility had to be relocated because it was in the path of the upcoming spillway work on Isabella Dam.
