CORINTO, Nicaragua (Aug. 11, 2007) - Sailors from USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) alongside Sailors from the Nicaraguan Navy, repair a small out-board engine while participating in a subject matter expert exchange during Partnership of the Americas 2007, Aug. 11, in Cornito, Nicaragua. POA is a Naval Southern Command deployment which focuses on strengthening bonds and fostering new relations with partner nations through various exercises at sea and on shore throughout South America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
