CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti – Military Working Dog (MWD), Timi and her handler, Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Gerardo Martinez, assigned to Camp Lemonnier practice explosive ordinance detection outside the K9 training course on base, July 25, 2019. Timi is trained to detect even the tiniest amount of explosives and at the same time frighten an aggressor on command. Camp Lemonnier is an operationally focused shore installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
