Darian Steffen, of Argyle, Iowa, culinary specialists, Headquarters, Headquarters Detachment, 209th Multi-Functional Medical Battalion, 67th Troop Command, Iowa Army National Guard serve food to Soldiers during the Philip A. Connelly Award competition on July 24, 2019, at Camp Ripley, Minn. The 209th Multi-Functional Medical Battalion was at Camp Ripley for an eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) rotation. XCTC is a 21-day collective training exercise for Brigade Combat Teams to achieve trained platoons, capable of unified land operations and response to domestic crises.
