U.S. Sgt's. Ilaitia Ratubuli, who serves with 3rd Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment, raises Fiji's flag in Labasa, Fiji, July 29. The flag raising ceremony was during the opening ceremony of Exercise Cartwheel 2019. The exercise will run two weeks from July 29 through August 12, and will provide tough and realistic training, strengthening Republic of Fiji Military Forces and US Army capacity as a regional leaders, increasing security cooperation for a free and open Indo-Pacific.
