Phil Tessier, a firefighter assigned to the 179th Engineer Detachment, Massachusetts Army National Guard, inspects his unit’s Tactical Fire Fighting Truck following a training mission on July 29, 2019 as part of Patriot Crucible 2019. Patriot Crucible 2019 is a complex two week training event focused on Army combat support units, including this mission in which the 179th Engineer Detachment rescued people from a cloud of nauseous fumes resulting from a HMMWV crash.
