190721-M-QS181-1055 ARABIAN GULF (July 21, 2019) Sailors remove the chalks and chains from an MH-60S Sea Hawk assigned to the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the 11th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
