NAS JACKSONVILLE (July 22, 2019) - Sailors don their oxygen masks to verify their operational status at the start of a training in the newly operational Normobaric Hypoxia Trainer (NHT) at Aviation Survival Training Center (ASTC)Jacksonville, June 22. The Sailors will attempt to simulate pilot and aircrew activities at altitudes greater than 24,000 feet to become aware of signs and symptoms on hypoxia.
