Private 1st Class Jacob Pickering and Military Working Dog Barbi from the 510th Military Police Detachment (MWD) descend from a helicopter during air assault training. Within the month, this team will begin a nine month deployment in Iraq in support of combat operations, providing explosive detection capabilities. From providing unique patrol, explosives and narcotic detection capabilities through law enforcement on Fort Campbell, Kentucky to deploying into combat zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan, the 510th MP DET is staying busy.
