U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airmen Chelsea Ann Kerce, from Aiken, South Carolina directs an SA-330J Puma helicopter, attached to USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4), as it delivers supplies to the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) during a replenishment-at-sea in the Coral Sea, August 2, 2019. Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready response force for any type of contingency.
