Servicemembers set charges during cave exploitation missions during Operation Jaws April 7, 2012. Op Jaws was a large-scale operation that took place April 5-8. Second Bn., 5th Marines, participated in one phase of the operation, which was designed to find and destroy weapons caches, improvised explosive devices and drug producing facilities.
