U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Bruce Cupit, the executive officer with of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command, stands at attention with staff and guests during the playing of the Honduran national anthem at a ribbon cutting ceremony that celebrated the competition of Escuela Vilma Yolanda Castillo Santos, a local grade school in Trujillo, Honduras, Aug. 5, 2019. Marines and sailors with the task force have been making improvements to the school, including new bathrooms, septic work, electrical work and new windows. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
