U.S. Air Force Capt. Laura Jones, 21st Special Operations Squadron flight commander, escorts Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper and his wife Leah to meet and greet the crew of a CV-22 Osprey at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Aug. 7, 2019. While the purpose of the visit was to meet with Japanese officials to further enhance the partnership between the U.S. and Japan, the Espers also took the time to meet with Yokota’s Airmen prior to departing on to their next destination as they continue their tour through Pacific region.
