Liaison Monitoring Team K20, team leader, 1st Lt. Jonathan Kummer met with Vitina Forestry Authorities Director Kadri Ismaili Aug. 6 at the Forestry Authorities office in Vitina, Kosovo.
The two discussed wood harvesting and forest issues in Vitina.
“The importance of meeting with leaders is to gain a grasp of what is important to the community," said Kummer. “[We need] to understand what they think is important.”
LMTs work closely with local Kosovo institutions to identify areas where they can support the people of Kosovo.
