A World War II era B-29 bomber nick named “FIFI” is on display at the Sioux City, Iowa airport. The Boeing Aircraft designed “Superfortress” was flown by the United States Air Force beginning in the 1940’s through the 1960’s. The aircraft had a pressurized cabin, electronic fire-control system, and remote-controlled machine gun turrets. The aircraft is kept in flying condition and is flown to events as part of the Commemorative Air Force.
