In a ceremony today at the Italian Embassy, in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, returned looted antiquities to the people of Italy. The objects were seized by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and Italy's Carabinieri. One of the seized artifacts, Leda e il Cigno, by Lelio Orsi, valued at $1.6 million, is shown in this photo.
