Seabees Participate in Southwest Indian Foundation Project

OAK SPRINGS, Arizona (Aug. 8, 2019) Jeremy Boucher, left, director of projects for the Southwest Indian Foundation (SWIF), gives Capt. Daryll Long, center, commodore, First Naval Construction Regiment (1NCR), and other distinguished guests a tour of a newly-built house that was recently delivered to a site on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 18, which reports to 1NCR, was the leading unit of an innovative readiness training project this summer where Seabees from different commands came together to build homes for SWIF to be delivered to the Navajo nation.
