The 160-foot Ecuadorian fishing vessel Marujita lies on its port side approximately 335 miles southeast of Clipperton Island, August 7, 2019. Twenty-five Marujita crewmembers and 12 U.S. Coast Guard members abandoned the vessel when it listed and capsized during a routine boarding and all were rescued by a Coast Guard cutter’s crew on patrol in the region.
