U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Kyle Wielkie, a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear defense specialist with Headquarters Company, Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, seals a leak during CBRN contamination mitigation training, on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 14, 2019. During the training Marines were tasked with properly sealing, packing, and removing a simulated barrel leaking into the ocean, while in mission oriented protective posture. CBRN training is critical to maintain readiness and prepares Marines to be able to respond to crises in any type of environment. Wielkie is a native of Lexington, S.C.
