100th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

1st Lt. Daniel L. Colomb draws a heart on the hand of an Iraqi child during a cordon and search operation in Hor al Bash May 5. He marked on the boy father hand to show that he had been questioned during the search a few minutes earlier. Colomb is a member of A Company, 70th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, which worked closely with the Iraqi Army during the mission.
