BLACK SEA (Aug. 16, 2019) — Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) release the ship’s anchor during a sea and anchor detail in preparation for arrival in Golck, Turkey, Aug. 16, 2019. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
