Multiple CH-47 Chinook helicopters prepare to land at a remote landing zone (LZ) to pick up soldiers of 1st Battalion, 40th Cavalry Squadron, 4th Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, after they conducted an air assault mission in Adwaniyah, Iraq, on Sept. 2. The Soldiers of 1/40th Cavalry Squadron are in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
