Rhode Island and Massachusetts teens recently participated in the Undersea Technology Apprentice Program, a three-week paid internship in underwater robotics sponsored by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport’s Educational Outreach Program. Students include Harrison Leahy (from left) Brooklyn Wakefield, Samantha Penacho, Grey Aycock, Emma Tavares, Sarah Hartman, Cody Raposa, Aditi Mehta, Katherine Papas, Raquel Rei, Nicholas Eichman, Steven Brum Jr., Pedro Rosa, Jack Kertscher, Daniel Coughlin, Morgan Mathieu, Logan DeSousa, Kenneth Studman and Jarod Blanchette.
