U.S. Marines with Landing Support Company, 3rd Marine Logistic Group, conduct an expeditionary refueling system air drop from CH-53E Super Stallions at Ie Shima Training Facility, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 12, 2019. The refueling system was used to fuel the Marine Corps C-130 Hercules aircraft during the Exercise. The establishment of a Forward Arming and Refueling Point from amphibious shipping demonstrates naval expeditionary integration across Marine Air-Ground Task Force capabilities and warfighting domains.
