    SANTA RITA, Guam (Aug. 21, 2019) Senior Chief Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician Jon Kristofferson, a native of Tacoma, Washington, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, teaches operators assigned to Australian Clearance Diving Teams One and Four about different techniques to test an unknown material during a home-made explosive and vehicle-borne improvised explosive device subject matter expert knowledge exchange during Exercise HYDRACRAB. HYDRACRAB is quadrilateral exercise conducted by forces from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and U.S. naval forces. The purpose of this exercise is to prepare the participating Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) forces to operate as an integrated, capable, and potent allied force ready to respond to a changing and complex maritime environment in the Indo-Pacific region.
