Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service (CTS), Kut Battalion soldiers fire M240 Bravo machine guns in preparation for operations in northern Iraq, August 1, 2019. CTS planned and led the operation. The operation cleared the Hawijah corridor, which is a known bed-down location for Daesh terrorists. The ISF and the Coalition forces are proactively interdicting Daesh sleeper calls, caches, temporary camp bases, finances and key personnel. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Andrew Goedl)
