Service members from Naval Air Station Sigonella and personnel from the Italian air force 41st Stormo and local Italian law enforcement take part in a bilateral week-long training evolution covering physical conditioning, martial arts, marksmanship and close-quarter tactics lead by Marines from 3rd Platoon, Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) Company. FAST Company is primarily designed to conduct defensive combat operations, military security operations, and rear area security operations as directed by the Chief of Naval Operations.
