Sailors aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) receive stores from the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196). Iwo Jima, the flagship of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group with embarked elements of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
