SANTA RITA, Guam (Aug. 23, 2019) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Claudia Woods, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5’s Unmanned Systems (UMS) Platoon 141, navigates a combat rubber raiding craft (CRRC) during an MK 18 MOD 1 Swordfish Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) knowledge exchange training evolution during Exercise HYDRACRAB. HYDRACRAB is a quadrilateral exercise conducted by forces from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and U.S. naval forces. The purpose of this exercise is to prepare the participating Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) forces to operate as an integrated, capable, and potent allied force ready to respond to a changing and complex maritime environment in the Indo-Pacific region.
