The Headquarters Company, 129th Support Battalion conducts a non-tactical vehicle (NTV) drivers training event at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Aug. 20, 2019. Led by Staff Sgt. Frank Koulais, battalion master driver, and assisted by Staff Sgt. Koulais ans Sgt. Blade Stach, the event trained 10 Soldiers on driving pickup trucks and 20-passenger busses through eight different obstacles designed to challenge the driver's ability to navigate tight turns, parking, reverse, gauge distances, and generally understand the vehicles ability and its space requirements. The NTV course was designed to increase driver safety while moving inside constricted areas like motor pools and parking lots, as well as giving Soldiers the confidence and familiarity with their vehicles to safely move about Kuwait.
