(Aug. 21, 2019) Sailors assigned to Naval Hospital Bremerton (NHB) lift a simulated patient out of a decontamination (DECON) tent during DECON training at NHB’s Urgent Care Center Aug. 21, 2019. This training prepares Sailors to respond to possible hazmat incidents or chemical contaminations and gives Sailors the opportunity for hands-on practice of DECON procedures. NHB supports more than 60,000 military families in West Puget Sound, shaping military medicine through training, mentoring and research to ensure a ready medical force and operationally ready force.
