PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 23, 2019) – U.S. Navy Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Ethan New, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88), learns about culinary capabilities aboard the Royal Australian Navy guided-missile destroyer HMAS Brisbane (DDG 41). Destroyer Squadron 31 staff and several Sailors embarked aboard Brisbane to learn about their shipboard operations and enhance the U.S. Navy partnership with the Royal Australian Navy.
