Michael Weber, commander, LRMC, Republic of Croatia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Damir Krstičević, U.S. Air Force Maj. Jana Davis, orthopedic surgeon, LRMC, Republic of Croatia Gen. Mirko Šundov, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Croatia Brig. Gen. Boris Zdilar, Medical Advisor to the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Republic of Croatia, visit LRMC's Medical/ Surgical Ward during a visit with a Croatian Special Forces inpatient recovering at the Ward, Aug. 27. The visit is symbolic of the trust and confidence NATO and Coalition Forces put in the care of their service members at LRMC, the only forward-stationed medical center for U.S. and Coalition Forces and evacuation and treatment center for injured U.S. service members and civilians, as well as members of 56 Coalition Forces serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, and in the Central Command, Africa Command and European Command area of operations.
