Jordanian Armed Forces soldiers with 7th Mechanized Infantry Battalion carry a simulated casualty as part of a react-to-contact drill in that ended with a medical evacuation call and loading the injured onto a U.S. Army Reserve helicopter operated by Golf Company, 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, Task Force Javelin as part of training in support of exercise Eager Lion 2019, Aug. 27, 2019. This multinational exercise is U.S. Central Command’s premiere exercise in the Levant region and is a major training event that provides U.S. forces, Jordan Armed Forces and 28 other participating nations the opportunity to improve their collective ability to plan and operate in a coalition-type environment.
