U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) walk up the ramp from the well deck as they come aboard the San Antonio-Class amphibious transport ship USS New York (LPD 21) during Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), MEU exercise (ARGMEUEX) in Morehead City, North Carolina, Aug. 24, 2019. ARGMEUEX provides essential and realistic ship-to-shore training, designed to enhance the integration of the Navy-Marine Corps team. Additionally, ARGMEUEX provides an opportunity to integrate unique individual and unit skills and develop the ARG and MEU’s collective proficiency in challenging and unfamiliar environments.
