A Marine with Regimental Combat Team 6 patrols the streets of Fallujah, Iraq, while fellow Marines, Iraqi soldiers, and Iraqi police distribute food to the people during Operation Alljah on Aug. 9. The Marines of Regimental Combat Team 6 and the Iraqi forces are working together during Operation Alljah to provide better security and safer neighborhoods for the citizens of Fallujah. Regimental Combat Team 6 is deployed with Multi-National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
