Mundy III (center), the commander of Marine Corps Forces Central Command, speaks to Marines and Sailors assigned with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) during a visit aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). The Boxer ARG and the 11th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
