Lt. Col. Lee G. Nordin, commander of the HQ 164th Regiment (RTI) holds the NCO Sword which symbolizes the Change of Responsibility of the 164th Regimental Command Sergeant Major from Command Sgt. Maj. Orville C. Wang to Command Sgt. Maj .Alan P. Grinsteinner. The sword is the symbol of the heart of the Regiment and serves as a reminder of our past glories and traditions, and inspiration for our present endeavors, and as a guide into the future. Also pictured is Master Sgt. Daniel L. Johnson who served as the sword bearer for the ceremony.
