NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Aug. 13, 2019) –Chief Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) Jesse Robert, the training department AMCM leading chief petty officer for Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO, uses a virtual reality headset with a mock M2HB .50 caliber machine gun to experience how both virtual and augmented reality could be used in the training of Sailors using heavy weapons systems at the Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) conference at the Virginia Advanced Shipbuilding Carrier Integration Center in Newport News, Virginia. RRL is one of the Navy's Sailor 2025 key initiatives with a focus on providing Sailors the right training at the right time throughout their career.
