Recruit Division Commanders and Marine Corps Drill Instructors here at Officer Training Command in Newport, Rhode Island (OTCN) conduct the Navy Working Uniform inspection as part of the Room, Locker and Personnel (RLP) inspection for Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 02-20 on Sept. 5, 2019. Candidates are to answer basic Naval and Marine Corps questions while being inspected. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned offers morally, mentally, physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
