A U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II, assigned to the 63rd Fighter Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., conducts a high-speed pass Aug. 26, 2019, at the Barry M. Goldwater Range near Gila Bend, Ariz. The range is used for a variety of exercises including, ‘Panther Beast’, a training exercise which consisted of competing pilots flying 50 miles to acquire and destroy 6 to 12 targets over a 45-minute period.
