The US Army Corps of Engineers South Florida Operations Office assesses the condition of Herbert Hoover Dike that surrounds Lake Okeechobee. With Hurricane Dorian moving out of the area, USACE reports the condition of the dike is unchanged and will continue the ongoing rehabilitation of the 143-mile earthen structure.
