190903-N-JY495-0071 ROTA, Spain (Sept. 3, 2019) - Steelworker 3rd Class Arturo Castro, a Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) grinds a steel plate prior to welding it while deployed to Rota, Spain, Sept. 3, 2019. NMCB-11 is currently forward deployed to Rota in support of commander, Task Force (CTF) 68, to provide expeditionary construction and engineering capabilities, humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and exercise related construction for the 6th Fleet area of operations.
