An M1-A2 Abrams main battle tank from the U.S. Army’s 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Task Force Spartan, maneuvers across the Jordanian desert as part of the culminating live-fire event for Eager Lion 2019 in Jordan, Sept. 5, 2019. Eager Lion is U.S. Central Command’s premiere exercise in the Levant region and is a major training event that provides U.S. forces, Jordan Armed Forces and 28 other participating nations the opportunity to improve their collective ability to plan and operate in a multinational, coalition-type environment.
