Sailors, students assigned to the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, return to the Joint Base Charleston Weapons Station, S.C., Sept. 6, 2019 after evacuating to Ft. Jackson, S.C. more than 240 students evacuated due to Hurricane Dorian. The students returned after the limited evacuation order was terminated and all JB Charleston personnel were recalled. NNPTC annually trains approximately 3,400 officer and enlisted Sailors in the science and engineering fundamental to the design, operation and maintenance of naval nuclear propulsion plants.
