190906-N-NT795-963 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 6, 2019) Chief petty officer (CPO) selectees from Navy Southwest Region commands participate in cadence competition during the 16th Annual chief petty officer (CPO) Pride Day in San Diego. Founded in 2003 by Force Master Chief Karen O’Connor and hosted by the Enlisted Leadership Foundation, San Diego CPO Pride Day is the largest gathering of chiefs and chief selects across the Navy, with 3,200 attendees and 200 Navy Southwest Region commands, which also includes volunteer community service activities throughout the San Diego area.
