The Army team was victorious after winning the first and third sets, earning them a gold medal. The Warrior Games features 50 disabled, wounded or ill soldiers and veterans competing against the Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Special Operations Command for gold in seven sporting events and for the Chairman's Cup, an award presented to the top performing service branch.
