A 3rd Iraqi Special Operations Forces soldier provides security during a training patrol while Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) trainers give instructions to fire team leaders in central Iraq, Aug. 20, 2019. CJTF-OIR instructors conduct the training to give 3rd ISOF the skills needed to effectively conduct advise, assist and enable missions with partner forces. We will continue to support our Iraqi Security Forces partners as these increasingly capable forces lead the way in pursuit of the lasting defeat of Daesh.
